In an unexpected move, Donald Trump fires FBI executive



WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has terminated James Comey, the executive of the FBI which is examining whether his crusade had ties with Russia's asserted impedance in the US races.

"I have gotten the connection letters from Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney General of the US prescribing your rejection as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I have acknowledged their proposal and you are therefore ended and expelled from the workplace, as of now," Trump said in the letter.

The stun move comes days after Comey affirmed on Capitol Hill about the FBI's examination concerning Russia's decision interfering and conceivable associations between the nation and Trump's crusade.
